Job summary

Arto Precast is seeking an experienced architect to manage client relationships, develop design proposals, prepare drawings and budgets, and coordinate with project teams.

Responsibilities include creating CAD models, coordinating studies for new and altered structures, and ensuring compliance with NBC codes. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience and strong BIM/design software skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as an architect.
• Proficient with design software and BIM tools.

The architect should manage client relationships, develop and present design proposals, prepare drawings, specifications, budgets, construction documents, and coordinate with different project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Create architectural designs/models using computer-aided design software based on input and feedback from clients.
• Manage design projects from concept to completion.
• Coordinate preliminary architectural studies for major new structures and alterations to existing structures and site development.
• Coordinate with detailers, contractors, engineers and project managers to facilitate completion of projects.
• Follow local planning regulations and safety standards in design.
• Have concise knowledge of NBC design codes.
• Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise site engineers.
• Compile timelines to track and report on project progress of construction work.
• Work with different teams to provide 3D renders of various designs to help successfully visualise the design.
