Job summary

Carifer Technologies in India is seeking a highly skilled ARC GIS Administrator to manage and optimize our GIS infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and security of ARC GIS environments.

You will install, configure, and maintain ARC GIS software, design databases, monitor server performance, implement security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver spatial workflows. A 2-year track record and strong Python/HTML/JS skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, CS, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as ARC GIS Administrator or similar.
• Proficiency installing, configuring, and administering ARC GIS Server, Desktop, and Online.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Python scripting for automation.
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, REST APIs for web mapping.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an ARC GIS Administrator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and administering ARC GIS Server, ARC GIS Desktop, and ARC GIS Online.
• Strong understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python for automation and customization of ARC GIS workflows.
• Knowledge of web mapping technologies including HTML, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certification in ARC GIS Administration or related areas is a plus.
