About the Role:

We are hiring motivated, detail-oriented AR Callers for our medical billing team in Hyderabad. You will be the main point of contact with US insurance companies, resolving outstanding claims and securing timely reimbursement for our physician clients. This role is open only to freshers and candidates with 12 years of experience; full training is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Call US insurance companies on behalf of physicians to follow up on outstanding Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Prioritize unpaid claims for follow-up based on the aging bucket (how long the claim has been outstanding)
• Speak directly with insurance representatives to advocate for and expedite payment of outstanding claims
• Verify the accuracy and relevance of insurance information provided by patients
• Evaluate unpaid or denied claims and decide the appropriate next action
• Check real-time claim status with insurance companies and document every update accurately
• Transfer balances to patients when insurance coverage is insufficient or inactive
• Request and review Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for claims already processed or paid
• Make corrections to claims based on instructions or feedback from insurance companies
• Meet daily and monthly productivity and quality targets set by the team
• Maintain patient and client confidentiality in line with HIPAA guidelines
• Escalate unresolved or complex claims to the team lead or supervisor

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline
• Fresher, or 12 years of relevant experience (candidates with more than 2 years will not be considered)
• Strong verbal communication in English, with a clear and neutral accent
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email) and a good typing speed
• Ability to handle high call volumes professionally
• Good listening, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Willingness to work night shifts (US timings) from the office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in medical billing, AR calling, or US healthcare BPO is a plus
• Familiarity with insurance terminology such as EOB, denial codes, and prior authorization
• Knowledge of medical billing software or practice management systems

Work Conditions:

• This is a night-shift role aligned to US business hours
• This is a work-from-office role at our Madhapur, Hyderabad office; remote work is not available
• Candidates must be comfortable with a regular night-shift schedule before applying
