Job summary

PeopleStrong in Himachal Pradesh requires a QC Lab Analyst to perform sampling and chemical analysis of purified and process water, and environmental monitoring across production, warehouse and microbiology areas.

You will calibrate pH meters and balances, maintain logs, support audits, and uphold GMP and Good Documentation Practice in the microbiology section.

Qualifications

• Calibrations of pH meters, weighing balances, etc.
• Safety, personnel hygiene and GMP practices in microbiology section.
• Internal & External Audit readiness for microbiology lab.

Responsibilities

• Sampling and chemical analysis of purified, process, pretreated & raw water.
• Environmental monitoring in production, warehouse and microbiology section.
• Execute validation/revalidation activities for instruments related to microbiology and manage Labware LIMS tasks.
• Calibrations of pH meter, weighing balance, etc.
• Documentation, reports and trends preparation, entries in logbooks.
• Ensure smooth operation and cleaning of instruments (e.g., autoclaves, incubators, refrigerators).
• Maintain cleaning, sanitization and fumigation in microbiology area.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
• Area Representative for dedicated area during audits and inspections.
• Ensure safety, hygiene, Good Documentation Practice and GMP in microbiology section.
• Preparation/standardization of volumetric/test/indicator solutions.
• Other duties assigned by Section Head/Head QC.

Job description

1. Sampling and Chemical analysis of purified, process, pretreated & raw water.

2. Environmental monitoring in production, warehouse and microbiology section.

3. To execute the validation/revalidation activities of the different instruments related to microbiology & to carry out all the activities related to Labware LIMS as per job assigned.

4. Calibrations of pH meter, weighing balance, etc.

5. Documentation, reports and trends preparation, entries in logbooks.

6. To ensure the smooth operation and cleaning of instruments like HPHV Steam sterilizer, Vertical autoclave, Incubators, Refrigerator, Deep Freezer, etc.

7. Ensure the cleaning, sanitization & fumigation etc. in microbiology section.

8. Responsible for any Internal & External Audit compliance.

9. Area Representative for dedicated area assigned by Head QC/ Designee for all time readiness for any inspection w.r.t. audit.

10. Ensure Safety, Personnel hygiene, Good Documentation Practice and GMP (Laboratories control) etc. in microbiology section.

11. Preparation/standardization of volumetric/test/indicator solution.

12. Other activity/work assigned by Section Head/Head QC.
