Standard Chartered India invites applications for a 12-month Global Support Functions Apprentice programme. You will contribute to real business priorities from day one while building technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience.

Qualifications

  • Have strong academic performance and be actively involved beyond the classroom
  • Be confident working with data and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Be detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate integrity and a strong sense of responsibility
  • No prior banking experience is required– just the motivation to learn and contribute.

Global Support Functions Apprentice - India

Our 12 Months Apprenticeship Programmeis designed to give you real responsibility from day one, while building the skills and experience to start your career in a global bank.

Youwon’tjustobservehow a global bankoperates–you'llcontribute to the teams that keep it running, evolving and ready for the future. From managing risk and strengthening our operations to supporting our people, technology and business, our Global Support Functions play a critical role in helping the Bank perform at its best.

Throughout the programme,you’ll:

  • Take ownership of meaningful work and contribute to real business priorities
  • Build technical,analyticaland problem-solving skillsthrough hands-on experience
  • Learn how data, technology and processes are used to improve the way we work
  • Develop your communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills

By the end of the programme,you’llhave a better understanding of how a global bank works, the role your function plays in its success, and where your skills and ambitions could take you next.

You should:

We enable the Bank to operate effectively, responsibly and at scale across our global markets. Our teams support how decisions are made, how risks are managed, and how the organisation runs day-to-day.
