Job summary

Amazon's ADCI unit in Tamil Nadu seeks a skilled ML/AI scientist to research problem domains, prototype multiple approaches, and collaborate with engineers to deploy end-to-end solutions.

You will contribute to future roadmaps for science in CMT and be ready to learn topics beyond applied science, including ML engineering and production-grade code.

Qualifications

• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience with SQL and an RDBMS (e.g., Oracle) or Data Warehouse.
• Experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application.
• Experience in state-of-the-art deep learning models architecture design and deep learning training and optimization and model pruning.
• Experience implementing algorithms using both toolkits and self-developed code.

A day in the life

A typical day might involve (a) working on ideas for improving models around product similarity or price recommendations, (b) working closely with other scientists and our ML engineers to ensure that the best models are in production, (c) writing good maintainable code that can be reused and reproduced, (d) sharing your work across CMT and beyond via technical writings and presentations
