Job summary

Thakral One is seeking an Application Support / Technical Systems Analyst to manage and enhance Nostro Reconciliation and Signature Verification Systems. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and business users to ensure seamless application performance while driving system improvements, requirement analysis, design, programming, and testing of banking software systems.

As an Application Support / Technical System Analyst, you will manage and enhance vendor package applications, specifically in Nostro Reconciliation and Signature Verification Systems. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and business users to ensure seamless application performance while driving system improvements, requirement analysis, design, programming, and testing of banking application software systems.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Application Management

• Oversee Business‑As‑Usual (BAU) activities, ensuring stability and efficiency of vendor package applications.
• Provide on‑call and onsite support during after‑hours, weekends, and public holidays.
• Collaborate with users and vendors to promptly address and resolve application issues.
• Ensure minimal disruption to operations by identifying and mitigating root causes.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Work with diverse teams across Singapore, Head Office, and Branches to coordinate system activities.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through proactive issue resolution.

Requirements Gathering & Development

• Engage with business users to collect requirements.
• Facilitate development, testing, and implementation of system enhancements.
• Document technical designs, specifications, and processes.

Proactive Improvement

• Identify opportunities for system optimisation and documentation enhancements.
• Drive initiatives that improve operational efficiency and add business value.

Experience

• You have 8+ years of experience in application support or business analysis within banking or financial services.
• You have worked with medium to complex regional channel systems.

Technical Expertise

• You have experience with Tungsten FraudOne Signature Verification System (SignBase & SignCheck).
• You are proficient in VB, .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows, and API integration.
• You are familiar with IBM MQ and database management systems like MSSQL.
• You understand all phases of IT system development and implementation life cycle, including Agile methodology.
