Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad seeks a network specialist to deliver Level 3 support for datacenter infrastructure, managing Infoblox DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM) and handling complex incidents.

You will perform advanced troubleshooting, lead RCA efforts, and ensure ITIL-aligned processes with proper documentation and SLA compliance in a 24x7 production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating in a live datacenter network environment with 24x7 operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) skills for complex network and application issues.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing workflows is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 support for datacenter network infrastructure incidents, problems, and changes.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting for network and application issues in production.
• Participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) calls and ensure SLA adherence.

Role & responsibilities

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in:

• Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)

Solid understanding of:

• TCP/IP, routing (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, VXLAN
• Network security concepts (ACLs, segmentation)

Process Knowledge

• Good understanding of ITIL framework
• Experience working in production support (24x7) environments

L3 Support & Operations

• Provide Level 3 support for datacenter network infrastructure incidents, problems, and changes
• Perform advanced troubleshooting for complex network and application-related issues
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures

Infoblox DDI

• Manage DNS, DHCP, and IPAM using Infoblox
• Troubleshoot DNS resolution, IP conflicts, and DHCP issues
• Maintain IP address schema and documentation

Operational Excellence

• Follow and enforce ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management)
• Ensure all activities are documented in ticketing systems
• Participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) calls
• Maintain SLA compliance and service availability
