Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Hyderabad seeks a senior network engineer to manage and support datacenter network infrastructure. You will specialize in Cisco ACI fabric deployments, F5 BIG-IP devices, and Infoblox DDI, while applying strong TCP/IP, VLAN/VXLAN, and routing knowledge.

The role requires handling Level 3 incidents, performing advanced troubleshooting, and leading RCA to prevent recurrence in a 24x7 production environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI fabric deployments and management.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP/LTM/GTM in production environments.
• Proficient in Infoblox DDI for DNS/DHCP/IPAM services.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), VLANs, VXLAN.
• Knowledge of network security concepts including ACLs and segmentation.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and 24x7 production support.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 support for datacenter network infrastructure incidents, problems, and changes.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting for complex network and application issues.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.

Role & responsibilities

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in:

• Cisco ACI (mandatory)


• F5 Load Balancers (LTM/GTM)


• Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)

Solid understanding of:

• TCP/IP, routing (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, VXLAN


• Network security concepts (ACLs, segmentation)

Process Knowledge

• Good understanding of ITIL framework


• Experience working in production support (24x7) environments

L3 Support & Operations

• Provide Level 3 support for datacenter network infrastructure incidents, problems, and changes


• Perform advanced troubleshooting for complex network and application-related issues


• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures

Cisco ACI (Primary Skill)

• Design, implement, and manage Cisco ACI fabric deployments


• Configure and troubleshoot:


• Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs


• Contracts, policies, and service graphs


• Monitor ACI fabric health and optimize performance


• Handle upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management

F5 Load Balancer

• Troubleshoot load balancing issues including:


• Virtual servers, pools, iRules


• SSL offloading, traffic steering


• Perform performance tuning and capacity planning

Infoblox DDI

• Manage DNS, DHCP, and IPAM using Infoblox


• Troubleshoot DNS resolution, IP conflicts, and DHCP issues


• Maintain IP address schema and documentation

Operational Excellence

• Follow and enforce ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management)


• Ensure all activities are documented in ticketing systems


• Participate in Major Incident Management calls
