Job summary

Proklean Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Tamil Nadu seeks a dedicated lab specialist to establish R&D formulation performance for water treatment and create lab SOPs. You will support field teams by analyzing trial samples, maintain lab equipment, manage sample inventory, and train junior staff for routine lab work.

The role requires 0-3 years in a water treatment lab, strong analytical abilities, and good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or MSc/MTech in water chemistry/ water technology/ analytical chemistry/ organic chemistry/Environmental sciences from a reputed institute.
• 0-3 years in water treatment lab, more specifically from a technology troubleshooting lab.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Executing application trials for product development in the water lab across various stages of treatment.
• Planning for daily experiments.
• Collaborating with field team to run troubleshooting experiments for market products and existing applications.
• Handling of water lab instruments including spectrophotometer, pH, TDS, ORP, COD/BOD incubator etc.
• Well aware of analytical skills including titration, preparation of standard solutions, standard calibration methods, etc.
• Results & data writing, Preparing reports & result summary.

Responsible for establishing the performance of R&D formulations for water treatment applications. Creating lab SOPs for different water treatment analysis methods. Supporting the field team by performing trial sample analysis in lab. Maintaining the lab equipment, analytical records, sample inventory. Training the underworking staff for routine lab work.

Experience:

• 0-3 years in water treatment lab, more specifically from a technology troubleshooting lab.
• Thorough knowledge of water treatment, methods of analysis, product trouble shooting.
• Experience in handling various water treatment process- STP/ETP/Cooling tower/RO membrane/coagulation /Flocculation
• Thorough understanding and experience in handling various chemicals used in water treatment.
• Good Communication Skills
• Good teamwork skills in a fast paced & challenging environment.
