Job summary

L’Oréal's Hyderabad tech hub seeks an Application Security Developer to drive the secure development of our global digital ecosystem. Reporting to the Cybersecurity Head, you will design robust full-stack applications and oversee secure deployments across cloud environments.

You will implement AppSec tooling (GHAS, Veracode, Checkmarx), automate CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and ensure safe operation on Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and Cloud Run.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in full lifecycle software development.
• Strong Python hands-on experience.
• Hands-on with CI/CD automation and DevOps practices.
• Solid background or strong interest in Application Security.
• Excellent communicator in English, comfortable in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

A Day in the Life of Application Security Developer!

Reporting to the Cybersecurity Head in our Hyderabad tech hub, you will drive the secure development of our global digital ecosystem.

In this role, You will..

Be Responsible For The Following

• Secure Development: Design and build robust full-stack web applications using Python, SQL, and database design.
• DevOps & Automation: Build and manage automated CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• AppSec Integration: Integrate AppSec scanning tools (e.g., GHAS, Veracode, Checkmarx) across SAST and SCA.
• Cloud Architecture: Manage deployments securely in Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, BigQuery).

What are we looking for?

• Years of exp- 5+ years
• Python Expertise: 5+ years of Deep hands-on experience in full-lifecycle software development and core design principles.
• 5+ years of full lifecycle software development experience, with strong full-stack web application expertise
• DevOps & Cloud Practitioner: Strong working knowledge of GCP and automated GitHub pipelines.
• Security Champion: Solid background or strong interest in Application Security practices.
• Adaptability: Eagerness to collaborate in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure DevOps).
• Team Player: Excellent communicator fluent in English, thriving in agile setups.
