L’Oréal's Beauty Tech is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead end-to-end data and software solutions on the Google Cloud Platform, aligning technical work with business needs and mentoring engineering teams.
You will design scalable data architectures, integrate Marketing APIs, and translate marketing requirements into robust data models and API implementations, while advocating best practices and cross-functional collaboration.

In this role, You will…
Lead the end-to-end delivery of high-quality, scalable data and software solutions within L’Oréal’s Beauty Tech Data Platform, ensuring technical excellence, innovation, and alignment with business needs while mentoring and empowering engineering teams
System Architecture:Design and implement large-scale, end-to-end data architectures on GCP.
Expert knowledge in designing and maintaining integrations with major advertising platforms, specifically:
Advanced Programming:REST APIs, SQL, and noSQL databases (Javascript including REACT is nice to have)
DevOps:Proficiency with Git version control, CI/CD principles, automated testing, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and monitoring/logging tools.
(Nice to have) Privacy Engineering:Understanding the impact of browser limitations (ITP, ATT) and privacy regulations (GDPR, Consent Mode) on data collection and measurement.
(Nice to have) Advanced Data Modeling: Slowly changing dimensions, data vault modeling, complex scenarios
(Nice to have) Experience with building GenAI-ready data architectures
Experience:7+ years in full-stack development, with significant experience managing high-volume data ingestion via third-party APIs.
Leadership:Minimum 2 years being a senior developer in projects, mentoring engineers, or making architectural decisions.
Portfolio:Complex projects showcasing expertise in scalable and reliable data solutions, specifically involving Marketing/AdTech stacks.
Technical Vision:Proven track record supporting and implementing technical visions for products.
Production at Scale:Extensive experience deploying and maintaining web applications and data pipelines in production.
