Job summary

CADFEM APAC seeks passionate Application Engineers in Structural Simulation to apply ANSYS-based analyses for real-world engineering challenges. You will engage in technical engagements, presales support, and customer training to drive adoption and measurable value.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, 3–8 years of experience, and strong fundamentals in solid mechanics, FE methods, and ANSYS Mechanical. Willingness to travel up to 25–30% is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automobile or related engineering disciplines.
• 3-8 years of experience in structural analysis or simulation-based product development.
• Strong fundamentals in solid mechanics, strength of materials, dynamics and finite element methods.
• Hands-on experience with ANSYS Mechanical (or equivalent commercial FEA tools).
• Exposure to nonlinear analysis, fatigue, composites, or optimization is preferred.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, APDL) or automation exposure is an advantage.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a passion for continuous learning.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 25-30%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical expertise in structural simulations using ANSYS Mechanical and related tools.
• Support presales activities by participating in technical discovery, product demonstrations, and evaluations.
• Engage with customers to understand design workflows, identify simulation opportunities, and articulate the value of ANSYS solutions.
• Provide high-quality technical support, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to help customers enhance their simulation skills and tool utilization.
• Develop and document simulation best practices, FAQs, and technical knowledge assets for internal and customer use.
• Collaborate with CADFEM's GTM and technical teams to ensure successful customer outcomes and satisfaction.
• Stay updated on advanced structural technologies and multiphysics capabilities to expand technical depth.
