Job summary

CADFEM India Pvt. Ltd. seeks a passionate Application Engineer to serve as the Technical Single Point of Contact for Space Research laboratories.

You will partner with space customers, map their simulation workflows, and coordinate ANSYS capabilities with CADFEM expertise to deliver high-quality technical engagements. You will lead technical discussions, coordinate across presales, support, and consulting teams, and drive discovery sessions with customer engineering teams to ensure timely,

Qualifications

• Master's in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronics, or engineering related disciplines.
• 4-8 years of experience in application engineering, technical consulting, or simulation-driven roles, preferably in space/aerospace/defense.
• Strong working knowledge of engineering simulation workflows using ANSYS or equivalent tools across one or more physics domains.
• Experience engaging with large R&D organizations, government labs, or mission-driven programs is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with scientists, engineers, and program leads.
• Proven ability to coordinate across multiple technical teams and manage parallel engagements with high autonomy and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical SPOC for assigned space accounts, building long-term relationships.
• Develop understanding of customer program goals, simulation workflows, and infrastructure.
• Position the ANSYS multiphysics portfolio in alignment with space program requirements across structures, fluids, electronics, and systems.
• Coordinate technical engagements across presales, support, consulting, and training teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Lead technical discussions, discovery sessions, and periodic reviews with customer engineering teams.
• Ensure timely follow-up, quality responses, and effective handling of technical queries or escalations.
• Identify opportunities for advanced simulation workflows, cross-physics coupling, and expanded adoption within space programs
