Job summary

Schaeffler India Ltd. in Pune seeks an Application Engineer to provide application engineering and technical support across industrial sectors, helping customers select bearing and motion solutions. You will work closely with customers and the sales team to drive product adoption and business growth.

Travel frequently pan-India for customer visits, technical support, and related activities. The role is on-site with a Monday–Friday work schedule.

Qualifications

• 4–13 years of experience in the relevant field.
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related discipline.
• Location Pune; work mode on-site (WFO, Mon–Friday).

Responsibilities

• Provide application engineering support for industrial customers.
• Recommend suitable bearing and motion technology solutions.
• Handle troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Support condition monitoring and predictive maintenance activities.
• Conduct technical presentations, seminars, and customer training programs.
• Work with sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Support new product development, testing, and validation activities.
• Interact with OEMs, end users, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage technical projects and ensure timely execution.

• Provide application engineering support for industrial customers.
