Job summary

ESTECO seeks an Application Engineer to join the Pune, India office. You will support modeFRONTIER and VOLTA, helping customers optimize engineering problems and integrate CAE tools into workflows.

The role involves training, demos, and collaboration with teams in Italy, Germany and North America, with opportunities for international exposure. A Master's in Mechanical Engineering and 1–2 years in software support are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's in Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years' experience in engineering software support.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of CAE/CFD tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support for modeFRONTIER and VOLTA to ESTECO customers.
• Understand customer problems and develop optimization solutions using ESTECO technology.
• Guide customers on MDO strategies and design exploration methods.
• Assist in integrating third party CAE tools in modeFRONTIER for automation.
• Conduct technical training and workshops for customers.
• Deliver product demonstrations and contribute to case studies.
• Collaborate with ESTECO teams in Italy, Germany and North America.

Job description

Hello! At ESTECO we are always seeking talented and motivated people who want to work with us. We are looking for an Application Engineer to join our office in Pune (India).

You will be working in ESTECO's Global Engineering and Support Team and be involved in application support of our software technology platforms modeFRONTIER and VOLTA.

Your main activities will be to:

• Provide application support for software platforms (modeFRONTIER and VOLTA) to ESTECO customers (industry sectors include Automotive, Aerospace, Consumer Appliances, Oil & Gas)
• Understand customer domain problems and develop and implement engineering optimization solutions using ESTECO technology
• Provide application support to customers and guide them on Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) strategies and Design Exploration methods
• Work with customers to integrate third party Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools in modeFRONTIER in order to enable CAE process automation
• Assist and conduct technical training and workshops for new and existing customers
• Assist and conduct product demonstrations for new customers and contribute to case studies
• Collaborate with colleagues from our Italian, German and North-American offices

What we need to see:

• Master's in Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related
• 1-2 years' experience in engineering software support
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Ways to stand out from the crowd (optional skills):

• Knowledge of CAE and CFD simulation tools such as NASTRAN, Ansys, Abaqus, Star CCM
• Knowledge of Optimization and Statistical Methods
• Programming and scripting skills
