Job summary

Energy Exemplar is hiring a Software Engineer in India to deliver quality software across the full development lifecycle. You will work on our modeling and simulation platform and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement scalable solutions.

You should bring at least 3+ years of experience in software development, strong skills in .NET, C#, front‑end technologies, and proficiency with APIs and SQL. The role emphasizes problem solving, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in product development field.
• Strong knowledge in OOPS with .NET, C# and SQL Server or any RDBMS.
• Hands on experience in UI front end development.
• Experience with Angular 2+, VueJS or React.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS preprocessors and responsive design.
• Strong problem solving, analytics and communication skills.
• Should be strong in .NET, C#, APIs, complex SQL queries and cloud/frontend technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality and performant software as part of the Development team.
• Develop software solutions by understanding information needs and lifecycle requirements.
• Collaborate with managers to discuss data usage and system flows.
• Contribute to design, development and testing across the SDLC.

About the Position

Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager as a member of the Development team in India, the Software Engineer is responsible for delivering quality and performant software and design to handle the vast array of use cases that our customers have today. This role is responsible for Developing Software Solutions by learning information needs, discussing with managers, studying systems flow, data usage, finding problem areas and coming up with solutions & following the software development lifecycle.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience in product development field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge in OOPS with .Net, C# or relevant technologies with SQL Server or any RDBMS
• Hands on experience in design and development on UI front end Technologies.
• Hands‑on experiences with UNIT testing frameworks.
• Experience in development of Angular 2+, VueJS or React.
• Expertise in Responsive web design, HTML5, and CSS pre-processors
• Strong logical, analytics and problem‑solving skills
• Must be able to work effectively across team boundaries.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Should be strong in .NET, C#, data structures & algorithms, design patterns, APIs, complex SQL queries, cloud & frontend technologies.
