Job summary

Hitachi Energy India Limited in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is hiring a senior electrical engineer to oversee relay settings calculations for line, transformer, bus coupler, busbar, generator, and motor. You will work on protection coordination and validation of configurations, with hands-on use of IED tools.

The ideal candidate has BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 5–10 years' experience in control panels, testing or application, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Experience with electrical protection schemes and relay settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calculate relay settings for line, transformer, bus coupler, busbar, generator and motor.
• Coordinate OC/E/F settings and related calculations.
• Work with IED configuration tools such as PCM600, DIGSI, Agile Studio, Easergy Studio.
• Work with Wavein or Sigra for fault analysis.
• Interpret schematic drawings and validate configurations.
• Perform application checks for functions.

• Should be able to do Validation of configuration.
• Should be able to do Application check for functions.
• Should impart training to internal and external customer on Protections.
