Job summary

Hitachi Energy Technology Services Private Limited in Chennai is seeking an Engineer for Primary substation design, with 1 to 5 years of experience and strong CAD proficiency.

You will work on engineering deliverables for AIS & GIS projects, apply IEC/IEEE standards, and contribute to tendering, lay out drawings, and equipment data verification.

Excellent English and ability to work with cross-functional teams are essential; the role requires adherence to safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or Diploma.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in Primary substation design.
• Proficiency in CAD design tools (BIM Tools, BIM 360, Navisworks, MicroStation / AutoCAD, AutoCAD REVIT, 3D competence).
• Knowledge of IEEE, IEC international standards.
• Experience in substation tendering and project engineering (technical & commercial).
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Your background:

• Bachelors in engineering or Diploma in Electrical.

• Knowledge of relevant international standards ex. IEEE, IEC,etc
• Knowledge in substation tendering and project engineering activities (technical & commercial).

• Comprehensive knowledge of related disciplines in the organization.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
