Job summary

CommScope in India is seeking an Application Developer, Data & Analytics to join our team in Goa or Hyderabad. You will support the design, development, and maintenance of BI reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions to help business users make informed decisions.

Under guidance from senior developers, you will work on ETL, data integration, data modeling, and data validation, gaining exposure to enterprise BI technologies while collaborating with stakeholders and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Analytics or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in application development, BI, or data analytics.

Supports the design, development, and maintenance of Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions that help business users make informed decisions. Working under the guidance of senior team members, this role contributes to data integration, reporting, data modeling, and analytics initiatives while gaining exposure to enterprise data and BI technologies. The individual collaborates with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, develop reports and dashboards, support ETL processes, and ensure data accuracy and reliability. Business Intelligence & Analytics Support

• Assist in the development and maintenance of BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
• Translate business requirements into basic analytical and reporting solutions.
• Support the creation of data-driven insights that help users monitor business performance and key metrics.
• Participate in the design of analytics solutions that provide a comprehensive view of business processes and entities.

ETL & Data Integration

• Develop and maintain ETL processes under the guidance of senior developers.
• Support data extraction, transformation, and loading activities from various source systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues and participate in data validation activities.
• Monitor daily ETL jobs and support issue resolution to ensure reliable data availability.

Reporting & Visualization

• Create and enhance reports, dashboards, and visual analytics using enterprise BI tools.
• Assist in gathering reporting requirements and validating outputs with business users.
• Ensure reports are user-friendly, accurate, and aligned with business needs.
• Support mobile and self-service reporting initiatives.

Data Modeling & Database Support

• Assist in the development and maintenance of data models that support reporting and analytics requirements.
• Develop SQL queries to support reporting, analysis, and data validation activities.
• Work with structured data sets and contribute to data warehouse and data mart development efforts.
• Learn and apply best practices in data modelling and database design.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with business users, analysts, and technical teams to understand and support business requirements.
• Participate in requirements gathering sessions, testing activities, and solution deployments.
• Communicate project status, issues, and recommendations effectively to team members.
• Build strong working relationships across business and IT functions.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Follow established development standards, testing procedures, and documentation practices.

Required Qualifications For Consideration

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Preferred 1 to 2 years of experience in Application Development, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, or a related technology role.
• Basic understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
