Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru (Bangalore) seeks an experienced Application Architect for the Banking Domain. You will design and govern scalable, secure architectures, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and enterprise standards.

You will lead architecture governance, drive modular designs, and collaborate across business, development, and security teams to deliver resilient, cloud-enabled solutions. Preference for strong TOGAF/BIAN knowledge and DevSecOps adoption.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years IT experience with at least 5 years as a Solution or Application Architect in large-scale enterprise systems.
• Deep experience in banking and financial services solutions including core banking, payments, lending, and digital banking.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or BIAN.
• Hands-on experience with integration tools and messaging platforms.
• Familiar with security standards and protocols including OAuth2, TLS, PKI, DLP.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate solution architectures (HLD/LLD) focusing on modularity, scalability, and alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Represent the application domain in governance forums, enforcing standards and design consistency.
• Ensure security-by-design with embedded authentication, authorization, encryption, and compliance to banking regulations (GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
• Architect solutions for operational resilience, including fault tolerance, load balancing, failover, and disaster recovery.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with business, development, security, and infrastructure teams for cohesive application delivery.
• Drive innovation by adopting emerging technologies such as DevSecOps, API gateways, serverless computing, and low-code platforms.
• Create detailed architecture artifacts such as blueprints, sequence diagrams, data flows, integration designs, and interface contracts.
• Manage architectural risks and ensure continuous improvement of the enterprise application repository.
• Support cloud and hybrid architecture strategies and facilitate CI/CD.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Application Architect to design and govern scalable, modular, and secure application architectures aligned with enterprise standards for the banking sector.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

10 to 15+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 5 years as a Solution or Application Architect in large-scale enterprise systems.

Deep experience in banking and financial services solutions including core banking, payments, lending, and digital banking.

Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or BIAN.

Hands-on experience with integration tools (IBM Integration Bus, IBM API Gateway), messaging platforms (Kafka, MQ).

Familiar with security standards and protocols including OAuth2, TLS, PKI, DLP.

Expertise in cloud architecture (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and hybrid integration patterns.

Experience with DevOps practices, microservices, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Proven ability to influence and align with stakeholders at all levels and navigate complex governance frameworks.

Banking domain experience and participation in transformation programs is highly desirable.
