Job summary

EXL is seeking an experienced Appian developer to join our delivery team in India. The role requires hands-on development across the Appian platform, including design objects, data fabric, interfaces, web APIs, AI skills, and RPA capabilities.

You will work with RESTful services, databases, and integration patterns to deliver scalable BPM solutions. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of experience, strong debugging and problem-solving skills, and excellent collaboration and communication

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Appian development experience.
• Proficiency in Appian 21.x or higher with knowledge of design objects: Process Models, Data Fabric, Interfaces (SAIL), Web APIs, AI Skills & Document Extraction, Appian RPA, Sites and Reports.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
• Strong understanding of BPM principles, Appian architecture, and Appian application lifecycle.
• Experience with RESTful web services, JSON/XML, and API integration.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
