The ideal candidate should have senior leadership in factories with costing, CMT/CMP, SAM/SMV, line productivity, manpower planning, machinery selection, cutting, sewing, finishing, packing and quality systems, as well as exposure to exporter margins, working capital, factory capex and subcontract
Find a currently employed senior professional from the export-oriented garment manufacturing industry who can help us evaluate and develop a large garment manufacturing project in Bihar.
Preferred profiles include Factory Head, Plant Head, GM Manufacturing, GM Operations, Production Head, Manufacturing Head, Industrial Engineering Head, Costing Head, Commercial Head, Business Unit Head, AGM or DGM in garment manufacturing.
The candidate should have substantial hands‑on experience in garment factory operations and understand garment costing, CMT/CMP/job-work arrangements, SAM/SMV, line productivity, manpower planning, machinery selection, cutting, sewing, finishing, packing, quality systems, exporter margins, working capital, factory capital expenditure and subcontract manufacturing.
Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Tiruppur, Chennai and Jaipur.
Preference for candidates originally from Bihar, especially Mithilanchal, Seemanchal or North Bihar, but this is not mandatory.
Avoid profiles primarily from fashion design, retail marketing, e-commerce, textile spinning/weaving, fabric sales, HR, buying-house merchandising without factory exposure, or retired consultants with outdated industry exposure.
The ideal candidate should be able to answer:
“If we establish a 500-machine export garment factory in Bihar, how many people should it employ, what should it cost, what production should it achieve, what conversion revenue and margins are realistic, and what commercial arrangement would persuade established exporters to place substantial production with it?”
