Job summary

Intelliswift is seeking an Apigee Developer in Pune/Bangalore to design, implement, and manage API platforms. The role requires 5–10 years of hands-on Apigee/API gateway experience and strong GCP/Kubernetes knowledge. You will architect API security using JWT/OAuth/mTLS and drive CI/CD automation.

The position is full-time with on-site work in Pune or Bangalore, focusing on migration between Apigee versions, API proxies, and policy-as-code in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on Apigee/API gateway experience.
• Strong GCP & Kubernetes (GKE) knowledge.
• Proficient in CI/CD automation and GitOps workflows.
• Experience with security protocols: JWT, OAuth 2.0, mTLS and API security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage API platforms using Apigee X and Edge.
• Develop and maintain API proxies and policies (Spike Arrest, Quota, OAuth/JWT, CORS).
• Architect and manage GCP infrastructure, including VPC, load balancing, and private connectivity.
• Automate deployments using Shell scripting and GitOps (ArgoCD).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and progressive delivery for APIs.

1. Apigee, Java, Node JS, Apigeelint, API Gateway
2. Design, implement, and manage API platforms using Apigee X, Edge,
3. API Gateway experience
4. Experience in Apigee migration activity - apigee x to apigee edge
5. Good and hands on exp in documentation and create architect level task
6. GCP - Cloud experience
7. Migration activity of Apigee edge to X
8. Develop and maintain API proxies, policies (Spike Arrest, Quota, OAuth/JWT verification, CORS, Message Logging).
9. Excellent communication and Work from office

Required Skills:

1. Strong expertise in Apigee X/Edge/Hybrid and API management.
2. Deep knowledge of GCP services, Kubernetes (GKE), and networking (VPC, DNS, routing, load balancing).
3. Proficiency in Shell scripting, GitOps (ArgoCD), and CI/CD automation.
4. Understanding of REST architecture and gRPC protocols.
5. Solid knowledge on GCP, azure and Apigee and Gloo API gateway- or Apigee API gateway
