Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Software QA Automation Engineer to Bengaluru to design and execute automated API testing for microservices-based applications. You will develop and maintain automation frameworks using Rest Assured, ReadyAPI, or similar tools, validate REST APIs, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience, strong Java skills, and hands-on testing of microservices architectures.

Your Role

• Design and execute automated API testing for microservices-based applications.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Rest Assured, ReadyAPI, or similar tools.

Your Profile

• 4–6 years of experience in Software QA and Test Automation.
• Strong expertise in API Testing and Automation using Rest Assured, ReadyAPI, Postman, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience testing microservices-based architectures.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD implementation.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven and Ant.
• Hands-on experience using debugging tools such as Charles Proxy and Fiddler.
• Experience working with JIRA and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with QMetry or similar test management tools.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
