Job summary

Phillipcapital is seeking an API Developer to design, build, and secure RESTful APIs powering its back-office and client-facing platforms. You will integrate with exchanges, KYC providers, and payment gateways, while ensuring robust security and documentation.

With 2–3 years of hands-on experience, you will work on .NET-based APIs, optimize MSSQL data access, and collaborate with QA and BA to translate requirements into precise API contracts.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hands-on experience building REST APIs using .NET/C#.
• Strong SQL skills with MSSQL and relational data design.
• Experience with API authentication standards such as OAuth2 and JWT.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and merge requests.
• Understanding of API security basics including input validation and rate limiting.
• Ability to write and read Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Mid-size broking firm (mutual funds, broking, PMS, insurance, wealth, corporate financing) building and maintaining APIs that power our back-office, client-facing, and internal platforms. You'll design, build, and secure APIs, and integrate with exchanges, KYC providers, payment gateways, and internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs (.NET) for internal and client-facing applications
• Integrate with third‑party services: exchanges, KYC/e‑KYC providers, payment gateways, banking partners
• Write clean, testable code with proper error handling, logging, and input validation
• Implement API authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT, API keys)
• Work with MSSQL for data access stored procedures, query optimization
• Write and maintain API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)
• Collaborate with QA and BA to translate requirements into API contracts

Required Skills
