Job summary

Alike Thoughts is hiring an API & Backend Automation Tester to join our engineering team. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated testing for REST APIs and backend services using Java-based frameworks and Robot Framework.

The ideal candidate has 7–12 years of hands-on API automation experience, strong knowledge of REST APIs and databases, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Banking/Financial Services exposure is a plus, with PAN India operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Java-based API test automation.
• Robust Robot Framework expertise for API automation.
• Strong REST API, JSON, and backend system knowledge.
• SQL and database validation proficiency.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Good debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Banking/Financial Services domain.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

Key Skills & Requirements:
