Job Title :API Automation Tester

Job Description : We are looking for an experienced API Automation Tester with 7+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing and maintaining automated test scripts for Web, Mobile and API-based applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, API Automation, Cucumber, GitLab CI/CD and JIRA-Xray and should be comfortable working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using enterprise automation frameworks.
Perform API, Web and Mobile application testing.
Develop automation scripts using Java, Selenium, Cucumber and API testing tools.
Design and maintain automated regression test suites.
Perform manual testing when required and create/maintain test cases and test sets.
Identify functional test cases suitable for automation.
Create and execute CI/CD jobs using GitLab.
Integrate automated test execution with CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze test results and report defects using JIRA/Xray.
Provide automation status and execution reports to Test Leads and Test Managers.
Work closely with developers, QA engineers and other project stakeholders.
Provide technical support and guidance to other Automation Engineers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Maintain automation frameworks and ensure quality and reliability of regression testing.
