Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with API automation, Selenium and Java expertise to join the testing team. You will analyze requirements, design test strategies and contribute to quality across web and client-server applications.

Responsibilities include building automated test scripts, executing tests, reporting results, and debugging defects. You may set up CI/CD pipelines and collaborate in Agile ceremonies to improve API test coverage

Qualifications

• Knowledge of full system life cycles.
• Knowledge of quality assurance practices and tools.
• Automated or manual testing experience in the web and client-server environments.
• Experience in writing test cases, test plans, structured test methodology, use cases.
• Development experience in test scripts, execution and reporting.
• Experience in API testing, Postman testing and API Test automation.

• Test application code components. Follow Agile practices & US Bank coding/testing policies
• Participate in Solution Design
• Perform unit testing using JUnit, build functional test scripts & automate using Selenium
• Debugging/defect resolution
• (Optional) Set-up CI/CD environment & implement/use DevOps tools for automated build, test & release
• Provide insights and recommendations from past experience
• Feedback incorporation as per Agile principle via Show and Tell
• Development will meet 90% JUnit test coverage at the API level
