Role & Responsibilities

• Framework Design & Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable mobile automation test frameworks for Android and iOS using Java, Appium, and Selenium.
• BDD Implementation: Write concise, clear feature files and step definitions using BDD frameworks (such as Cucumber) to bridge communication between technical and business teams.
• Test Execution & Reporting: Execute automated test suites across real devices, emulators, and cloud testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, LambdaTest).
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for regular automated regression runs.
• Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and re-test defects in defect management tools like Jira.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams in an Agile environment to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java programming concepts (OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling).
• Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Appium for mobile automation (iOS & Android).
