Job summary

Eximietas Design in Bengaluru seeks an Android Framework Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Android framework components and system services. You will build native components in C/C++ (NDK) and customize AOSP for device-specific needs, focusing on performance and power efficiency across the stack.

You will collaborate with hardware, kernel, and application teams, participate in code reviews, and drive improvements to framework architecture while leveraging your strong debugging and Linux

Qualifications

• Experience in Android Framework or Embedded Android development.
• Strong programming skills in C and C++.
• Hands-on experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) internals.
• Experience with Android Framework, HAL, Binder IPC, and system services.
• Good understanding of Linux internals and device drivers.
• Experience with Android build systems such as Soong and Make.
• Proficiency in debugging using ADB, Logcat, GDB, Systrace, and related tools.
• Experience with Git version control.
