Job summary

Rentokil PCI is seeking an Android Developer in Mumbai (Goregaon W). The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of Android experience, strong Kotlin/Java skills, and a solid understanding of the Android platform, including MVVM/MVP architecture and Jetpack components.

Responsibilities include collaborating on app architecture, integrating Firebase, Room, Retrofit, and publishing to the Google Play Store. A proactive mindset and familiarity with CI/CD practices are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experience with MVVM/MVP architecture, Jetpack components, LiveData, ViewModel, etc.
• Knowledge of Firebase, Room Database, and Retrofit/OkHttp.
• Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, and agile development processes.
• Experience publishing apps on the Google Play Store.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Familiarity with unit testing, instrumentation testing, and UI testing frameworks.
• Understanding of security best practices in mobile development.
• Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs.
