Roles & Responsibilities

• A. Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• B. 3-5 years of Experience in designing and developing Android Apps, which also have Multi-media, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFI, SQLite, Material Design, Web Services
• C. Programming experience in Java, Dalvik, ART, javascript, webview, fragments
• D. Excellent skills and knowledge in Android Component (Activity, Services, Content Provider, Broadcast Receiver, Fragment)
• E. Work with outside data sources and APIs
• F. Excellent knowledge in core Java
• G. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• H. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Minimum Qualifications

• B.Sc./B.Tech degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills & Traits

• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the entire software development life cycle
• Hands on experience with Android studio & gradle build system
• Proficiency in Android SDK/NDK framework. Strong knowledge of different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Experience in building JNI libraries
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Experience with 3rd party frameworks and SDKs
• Solid understanding of user interaction concept differences between Android phone and Tablets
• Knowledge of web services, REST APIs
• Solid understanding of Android user interface guidelines and the latest operating systems, features and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Good design skills using Object oriented design patterns
