Code1 Tech in India seeks an experienced Android Developer to design, build, and scale high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java. You will work on modern architectures and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

You will implement robust UI with Material Design and Jetpack, integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and maintain rigorous test coverage with JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso while staying current with Android best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

• Work with Jetpack libraries: Lifecycle, Navigation, Room, DataStore, WorkManager.
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs via Retrofit and OkHttp.
• Write unit/UI tests with JUnit, Mockito, Espresso; follow TDD.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin(preferred) and Java to build, maintain, and scale high-quality Android applications. Theideal candidate has hands-on experience with modern Android development practices,clean architecture, Jetpack libraries, test-driven development, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin and Java
• Build responsive and intuitive UI using Material Design, XML, Jetpack Compose,and Views
• Implement scalable architectures using MVVM and Clean Architecture
• Work with Jetpack libraries including Lifecycle, Navigation, Room, DataStore, andWorkManager
• Consume and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs using Retrofit andOkHttp
• Write clean, testable code following TDD principles
• Develop and maintain unit tests and UI tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend) to deliverhigh-quality features
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Stay current with Android platform updates and best practices
