Job summary

TheCodingShef in Coimbatore is seeking a Senior Android Platform / AOSP Engineer (Automotive) to own Android/SoC topics and perform platform bring-up for next-generation automotive systems. You will integrate BSP/HAL, work on AAOS/Automotive Infotainment, and lead debugging across Android framework, kernel, and drivers.

Ideal candidates have strong Java/Kotlin and C/C++ skills, hands-on AOSP experience, and a track record of BSP/SoC integration and board bring-up in automotive contexts.

Qualifications

• Extensive Android/AOSP development experience.
• Strong hands-on Android Framework & AOSP expertise.
• Proficient in Java/Kotlin and C/C++.
• Experience with Android HAL (AIDL/HIDL) and JNI.
• Experience with Android BSP/SoC integration and board bring-up.
• Familiar with Android build system Soong/Make and AOSP customization.
• Good knowledge of Linux Kernel, Device Tree & Android drivers.
• Experience with AAOS/Automotive Infotainment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own Android/SoC topics and drive issues to closure.
• Integrate BSP/HAL for automotive platforms.
• Lead Android platform bring-up for next-gen automotive systems.
• Perform system-level debugging using ADB, logcat, dumpsys, systrace/perfetto.
• Collaborate across hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration.
