Job summary

Mobis India is seeking an experienced Android Developer specialized in Android-based Infotainment (IVI) Application and Framework development. You will build and stabilize infotainment apps such as Media, Radio, Bluetooth, Settings, and CCS, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver automotive software solutions.

The role requires strong Java/Kotlin knowledge, Android 10+ experience, and familiarity with AOSP, IPC, and Agile/Scrum processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Android-based Automotive Infotainment (IVI) development.
• Experience with IVI apps like Media, Radio, Bluetooth, Settings, CCS.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Android framework components, and OOP concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Android 10 and above.
• Working knowledge of Android IPC mechanisms (AIDL/Binder), Services, Middleware, and Multithreading.
• Familiarity with Android SDK, AOSP, Android Automotive, Kotlin, and Automotive Coding Guidelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement HMI, GUI, and functional specifications for IVI applications.
• Perform requirement analysis and develop software requirements for assigned IVI modules.
• Design, develop, integrate, and validate Android IVI applications and framework components.
• Support software stabilization activities during vehicle production and launch events.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
