Accenture is seeking a Analytics and Modeling Senior Analyst to join the General Insurance team. You will perform complex actuarial data analysis, validate client data, and prepare data for valuation, while exploring sensitivity analyses and rule-based modelling aspects.

Qualifications

• Catastrophe modelling experience with strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using RMS applications is a must; Risk Modeler exposure is advantageous.
• Clear communicator capable of explaining complex issues simply and quickly.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with stakeholders.
• Proficient in SQL; understanding vendor model data structures.
• Programming knowledge in R/Python/VBA or GIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Commercial Line monthly and quarterly rollups to improve validation and reporting.
• Deliver CAT risk aggregation insights and actionable internal reporting.
• Understand and apply complex treaty structures to portfolio risks.
• Explain portfolio results, trends, model changes, and data limitations.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and cross-line requests as needed.
• Coach and develop team members; contribute new ideas and exploration avenues.
• Undertake new projects as they arise; work in rotational shifts if required.

What would you do?

• 1. Perform Commercial Line Monthly and Quarterly rollup - explore various data topics to improve the data validation, reconciliation, and reporting by working closely with Account Modeling, Regional Portfolio and Corporate CAT Risk Aggregation teams
• 2. Ability to perform quarterly CAT risk aggregation and deliver insightful and actionable reporting to internal stakeholders
• 3. Understand and apply complex treaty structures to portfolio risks
• 4. Provide stakeholders explanation of portfolio results and trending over time, model change impacts, and data quality and limitations
• 5. Support ad-hoc reporting
• 6. Ability to handle or contribute requests from other lines of businesses on ad-hoc
• 7. Coaching and development of team members - Actively contributing ideas and avenues for exploration where appropriate
• 8. Undertake new projects as on when availableYou would be part of General Insurance team for Actuarial Domain, In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems for General insurance team. Performed analysis, validation of client data and making it ready for the valuation purpose after making all the reasonability checks. Performed sensitivity analysis by varying different assumptions to get a measure how much liability changes in case assumptions got changed.Understanding and management of property and casualty insurance companies that provide insurance against the loss of real property, tangible assets and/or income.

What are we looking for?

• 1. Minimum 7 plus years of catastrophe modelling experience - Strong analytical, problem-solving approach - strong knowledge on various reinsurance is must
• 2. Experience in using RMS applications is must, Risk Modeler will be advantageous
• 3. Clear communicator, able to structure an argument and explain complex issues in a simple way – faster learning capabilities
• 4. Advanced knowledge in MS Office applications
• 5. Effective time management skills and willingness to work on multiple projects with multiple stakeholders in a rapidly changing environment
• 6. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
• 7. Excellent SQL skills and a thorough understanding of vendor model data structures
• 8. An additional programming language (R/Python/VBA) or GIS skills are a distinct advantage
