Zenith Consultants Software is seeking an LC-MS/MS field service engineer to support clinical laboratories across Mumbai and Western India. You will ensure uptime of LC-MS/MS systems at hospitals and labs, traveling to customer sites as needed.

The role requires hands-on service, installation, and on-site training, with travel to other regions when necessary. Strong communication and troubleshooting skills are essential for success in this customer-focused position.

Qualifications

2+ years of UPLC-MSMS diagnosis, repair and maintenance experience.
Degree in science or engineering; postgraduate degree is advantageous.
Familiarity with Waters single and tandem quadrupole MS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure uptime of LC-MS/MS systems at clinical labs and hospitals.
Respond promptly to on-site service calls and begin diagnosis quickly.
Record service work accurately in Compass/CIT systems.
Coordinate with field chemists and service engineers for seamless support.
Provide installation and operational training for new equipment.

Job Description: Analytical Instrumentation service Engineer Location: Mumbai(Work from Office and candidates will be travelling) Rate Card: 1.5 to 1.7

Overview

This is a job for an UPLC-MSMS field service engineer. Waters Clinical Business Unit is looking for someone who is genuinely excited by customer success and is ready to work at our customer sites in hospitals and clinical labs to ensure that our customers can provide reliable clinical diagnostics to their patients. We want you to be the person that these lab analysts are happy to see each time you visit.

This role is based in Mumbai and extends throughout Western India ( Maharashtra, Ahmedabad and Goa. If require need to travel all part of India).

Responsibilities

The main responsibility of this role is ensuring the uptime of clinical LC-MS/MSMS systems so that our customers can continue to provide patient results that affect the clinical outcomes. The successful candidate will have to manage and deliver on customer demands including

? Take full responsibility for the success of our key clinical laboratory site in Northern India, by providing repair and preventative maintenance to the LC-MS/MSMS systems.
? Respond rapidly to customer calls, arriving on site with urgency to begin diagnosis and repair.
? Ensure service work is properly recorded within Compass/CIT.
? Coordinate with the CBU field applications chemists and the Waters Division Field Service Engineers to provide seamless customer support.
? Provide timely installation service for new equipment.
? Provide operational training to customers on appropriate software and hardware.

The ideal candidate will already be familiar with service of LC and MS equipment. Although the key sites are currently in Mumbai, travel out to the other regions will be required.

Qualifications

? A degree in science, engineering or similar, a post graduate degree is a clear advantage
? At least 2years UPLC-MSMS experience in diagnosis, repair and maintenance of LC-MS/MSMS equipment, although the more experience the better.
? Ideally your experience will involve Waters? single and tandem quadrupole MS systems and/or working in the clinical UPLC-MSMS analytical field.
? Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving
? Verbal and written communication is clear, respectful and timely.
? You enjoy travelling and visiting customers
