Job summary

Kroll, a global risk and financial advisory firm, is seeking an Analyst for its Indian Restructuring practice based in Mumbai or Delhi. The role focuses on research, stakeholder liaison, and report preparation to support distressed situations across industries.

You will contribute to client proposals, collaborate with directors, and manage assignments with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset while traveling to client sites as required.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of post-graduate professional work experience.
  • Financial or commercial experience in audit, management accounting or similar preferred.
  • MBA, BCom/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related management field from an accredited college.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or similar field.
  • Strong academic track record and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth client, competitor, industry, market and economy research.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, lenders, legal counsels and directors.
  • Contribute to proposals, presentations and publications.
  • Collate information and assist in report preparation.
  • Take ownership of assignments and manage workload.
  • Keep line managers informed on progress.
  • Support other team members as required.

We are tasked with offering transaction and advisory services along with expert guidance to both domestic and foreign organizations in distressed situations across virtually every industry and every situation.

We are seeking an Analyst to support the Indian Restructuring business. The position will be based in Mumbai or Delhi and will ultimately report to the Managing Directors within the Restructuring Practice. An Analyst will be responsible for the various day‑to‑day procedures involved in the successful operation of the business and for ensuring deadlines are met.

Responsibilities
  • Performing in-depth client, competitor, industry, market and economy research
  • To liaise with and provide feedback to company stakeholders, lenders, legal counsels, employees and directors
  • Contributing directly to the development of proposals, presentations and publications
  • To collate information and assist in the preparation of reports.
  • To take ownership of work assignments and manage their own workload.
  • To keep line managers appraised on progress.
  • To assist and support other members of the team as required.
  • To take an active part in the firm and demonstrate a “can do” approach.
  • The job may involve travel to clients’ sites, away from the Office.

  • Demonstrated track record of superior academic and work performance; demonstrated commitment to outstanding results
  • Strong analytical, comprehension and problem‑solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills

Requirements
