Medline India in Pune seeks a Pricing Analyst to research and analyze customer pricing credit requests to ensure system alignment and credits reach customers without negative financial impact.

You'll develop recommendations to resolve operational issues, review credit submissions, and work with vendors, AR, and sales to improve data accuracy and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Ability to process details, prioritize importance, and draw concise conclusions.
• Strong time management, prioritization, and deadline adherence.
• Customer service experience with internal and external customers and measurement of satisfaction.

• Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables).

Responsabilités

• Analyze customer pricing credit requests for validity considering contract eligibility and pricing structures.
• Validate rebates secured per vendor timelines and process requirements.
• Engage vendor community to obtain eligibility and pricing data; resolve discrepancies.
• Review data accuracy and communicate issues to relevant personnel.
• Improve team processes and update SOPs.
• Perform root cause analysis and identify trends or anomalies.
• Serve as first point of contact for A/R, PVA’s and sales reps.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze customer pricing credit requests for validity by considering contract eligibility, markup structure, vendor hierarchy requirements, unit of measure challenges, etc.
• Validate necessary rebates have been or can be secured based on varying vendor timeline restrictions and process requirements.
• Establish relationships and work with the vendor community to obtain necessary eligibility and pricing information. Work with vendors to research and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and ensure data accuracy. Communicate to appropriate personnel if data inaccuracies exist.
• Contribute to the improvement of team processes to create efficiencies. Update/create department Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide insights into trends or unusual performance.
• Serve as the first point of contact for A/R, PVA’s and sales reps.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree.

Certification / Licensure:

• None required.

Work Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in customer pricing, contracts and/or rebates.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
• Experience processing details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing clear and concise conclusions.
• Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction in both written and verbal communication.
• Experience collaborating with internal resources and external resources to meet department goals within established timelines.
• Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).
