Job description

Research and analyze customer pricing credit requests to ensure system alignment and that credits pass through to the customer without negative financial impact. Develop recommendations to solve problems related to business operations. Review credit requests submissions and provide recommendations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze customer pricing credit requests for validity by considering contract eligibility, markup structure, vendor hierarchy requirements, unit of measure challenges, etc. Validate necessary rebates have been or can be secured based on varying vendor timeline restrictions and process requirements. Establish relationships and work with the vendor community to obtain necessary eligibility and pricing information. Work with vendors to research and resolve discrepancies. Review and ensure data accuracy. Communicate to appropriate personnel if data inaccuracies exist. Contribute to the improvement of team processes to create efficiencies. Update/create department Standard Operating Procedures. Perform root cause analysis and provide insights into trends or unusual performance. Serve as the first point of contact for A/R, PVA’s and sales reps.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree. Certification / Licensure: None required. Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in customer pricing, contracts and/or rebates.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
• Experience processing details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing clear and concise conclusions.
• Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction in both written and verbal communication.
• Experience collaborating with internal resources and external resources to meet department goals within established timelines.
• Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).
