Job summary

Flex in India is seeking a Senior Analyst – Planning to join our Global Procurement & Supply Chain team in Chennai. The role focuses on materials planning for multiple projects, coordinating with the CFT and suppliers, and ensuring data accuracy to meet customer schedules.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or related field, 0–2.5 years planning experience, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, with BAAN ERP knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Engineering degree required.
• 0 to 2.5 years planning experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of ERP BAAN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise and support to the Customer Focus Team (CFT).
• Ensure materials planning for specific projects as required.
• Provide timely materials status through shortages and reports.
• Manage excess and obsolete inventory submissions to the customer.
• Coordinate work orders and monitor inventory vs goals.
• Collate data from CFT, perform first level analysis, share findings.
• Schedule and coordinate material status with suppliers to expedite.

looking to add a Senior Analyst – Planning in India.

A planning professional who can quickly and accurately process overall planning activities in a fast

paced environment. Has excellent stake holders service skills and works well in a team to

consistently meet challenging performance targets.

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for providing expertise and support to the Customer Focus Team (CFT)
• Ensuring the ability of the materials planning for a specific project or projects as required
• Key assignments include providing timely Materials status through use of available Shortage
• Submission of Excess and Obsolete Inventory to the Customer, Work Order Management,
• Collate the data based on the input received from CFT, do first level of analysis, and share
• Monitor Inventory levels vs. goals, Shortage reports with detailed comments – CTB, Excess
• Schedule and coordinate status of materials within or with the external suppliers to expedite
• Ensure all materials procedures are adhered to by the Planner

The experience we’re looking to add to our team :

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Engineering Graduates
• Experience - 0 to 2 .5yrs years in Planning
• Mandatory Knowledge of computer software applications, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to analyze supply chain for demand pull in or push out.
• Knowledge of ERP (Preferably BAAN)
