Job summary

Eaton Group in Pune is seeking an experienced logistics professional to oversee daily SEZ, import/export, and DTA operations, ensuring smooth movement of materials and accurate GRN processing.

You will manage the logistics team, coordinate with Shipping Agencies, Freight Forwarders, and Customs House Agents, and monitor expenditures within budget while driving SOP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Commerce/Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in logistics including import/export, SEZ transactions, and DTA operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics operations for SEZ, Customs (Import/Export), and DTA transportation.
• Lead logistics team and manage inbound materials and GRN processing.
• Coordinate with Shipping Agencies, Freight Forwarders and Customs House Agents for timely clearance and delivery of shipments.
• Invoice verification prior to shipments & SEZ endorsement process.
• Track and manage expenses within budget and ensure SOPs are followed.

Job description

What you’ll do:

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

The incumbent will be primarily responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations related to SEZ, Customs (Import/Export), and DTA transportation. This includes managing the logistics team, handling incoming materials, ensuring accurate GRN processing, and coordinating temporary storage and issuance activities.

• Day to day Import/Export shipment clearance at customs (duty free / duty paid)
• IUT (Inter Unit / SEZ to SEZ goods Transfers)
• De-bonding of assets/ Scrapping
• Service Invoices for GRN & Endoersment
• Coordinating with Shipping Agencies, Freight Forwarders and Customs House Agents for timely clearance and delivery of Shipments.
• Online TRC closing
• Support to Finance, vendors, SCM team, Users, Inward team, SEZ desk for the shipment related issues, Invoice issues.
• Invoice verification prior to shipments & GRN and SEZ endorsement process
• Online BOE, Shipping bill and TRC submission
• Tracking & managing expenses withing budget
• Ensuring timely agreements with all the vendors
• Ensuring all the processes are being mapped in SOP`s
• Controlling inward store activities and managing the store team
• Keeping record of Import/bond to bond/IUT/loan basis/Indigenous documents to respective Bond
• Documentating all the data points & preperation of MIS
• Tracking & improvising logistics KPI`s

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science /Commerce /engineering from an accredited university/institution.

Min. 08-10 years of relevant experience in logistics including import/export, SEZ transactions, and DTA operations.

Skills:

• Subject Matter Expertise in SEZ logistics and customs processes
• Ability to Manage custum clearance of goods
• Experience in handling issues related to SEZ & Custom & providing its resolution
• Familiarity with operational SOPs
• Hands on at SEZ & Custom online transactions
• Good communication and conflict resolution skills
• Data analytical / Problem Solving skills
• Good on Excel, Power point & soft skills
• Proficiency in Oracle and logistics approval tools
