Job summary

5 Star Recruitment in India is seeking a CAD Support Engineer to join the CAD/PDM systems global IT team, supporting ECAD/OrCAD/AutoCAD and electrical design workflows. You will install, administer, and upgrade CAD/PDM tools, design interfaces with PLM, and help roll out digital twin initiatives and MBD across engineering and NPI.

Experience with process improvements, vault consolidation, and cross-functional training will be valued as you work with global teams across mechanical and electrical

Qualifications

• ECAD/ORCAD/AUTOCAD experience and strong electrical design background
• Doctorate degree and at least 3 years of related work experience
• Master's degree with at least 6 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Support CAD and PDM systems across Engineering and NPI teams
• Install, administer, upgrade CAD/PDM software and vaults

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

CAD Support Engineer will be part of CAD/PDM systems global team in IT that is responsible for supporting all CAD and PDM systems as well as the development, Engineering and NPI processes.

Supporting users in the different mechanical and electrical CAD systems with systems installations and problems, administration of the systems, conduct trainings, work with engineers to design workflows and work procedures and build them in the system, design interfaces with other systems, manage and preform systems upgrades, vaults consolidations for our subsidiaries and rollout of new systems and processes.

Support our Digital Transformation roadmap to implement digital twin, MBD, CAD Integration with PLM and other cross-organizational work procedures.

This person will be a CAD Support Engineer and will work on the digital transformation roadmap activities.

The digital transformation roadmap requires lots of support for CAD processes like MBD, Digital Twin, CAD integration with PLM, and more

Must-Haves

• Top 3 Mandatory Skills: ECAD, ORCAD , AUTO CAD , ELECTRICAL DESGIN BACKGROUND
• Basic education qualification required Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years;
• Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years;
• Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years. (MUST)
• ECAD/ ORCAD/ AUTOCAD experience, Support experience, Electrical design background would be nice but currently working as a support
