Analyst CAD Support – Location: Chennai, TN

Overview

CAD Support Engineer will be part of the CAD/PDM systems global team in IT that is responsible for supporting all CAD and PDM systems in the team as well as development, engineering and NPI processes. This role involves supporting users in different mechanical and electrical CAD systems with system installations and problem resolution, administering systems, conducting trainings, and collaborating with engineers to design workflows and procedures. It also includes designing interfaces with other systems, managing system upgrades, vault consolidations for subsidiaries, and rolling out new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support digital transformation roadmap to implement digital twin, MBD, CAD integration with PLM and other cross-organizational work procedures.
• Act as CAD Support Engineer on digital transformation activities and provide extensive CAD process support (MBD, Digital Twin, CAD integration with PLM, etc.).

Qualifications

• Education (must): Doctorate (Academic) Degree with 3+ years of related work experience; Master’s Degree with 4+ years; Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years.
• Experience: 7 – 13 years total; CAD Support experience in ECAD/ORCAD/AUTOCAD; prior electrical design engineering experience with CAD support is a plus; candidates with only design experience will not be a good fit.
• Support role requirement: No gaps in employment; stable work history; no-poach from client HCL.
• Location readiness: Located in or willing to relocate to Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
