Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients, and health & biosciences, is seeking an analytical professional for its Global Business Services in Chennai, India.

The role focuses on delivering analytical support to manufacturing, quality, and innovation teams, interpreting GC/GC-MS data, investigating deviations, and collaborating across functions to drive quality and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in analytical laboratories, quality, or chromatography-based roles.
• Hands-on experience with GC and/or GC-MS instrumentation and data interpretation.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and root-cause investigation skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across global teams.
