Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, is based in Chennai, India. You will deliver expert analytical support to global manufacturing, quality and innovation teams, interpreting GC and GC-MS data to drive quality decisions and material disposition.

We seek a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field, 2+ years in analytical labs, and strong problem-solving, analytical thinking and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in analytical laboratories, quality, or chromatography-based roles.
• Hands-on experience with GC and GC-MS instrumentation and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert analytical support to global manufacturing, quality, and innovation teams.
• Interpret GC and GC-MS data to drive quality and material disposition decisions.
• Investigate quality deviations, OOS results, and customer complaints to minimize risk.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve technical and quality challenges.
