Revantage in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage journal entries, reconciliations, and GAAP reporting for real estate portfolios. You will review financial packages from property management partners, ensure correct project coding, and support capital transactions with external auditors.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with real estate accounting systems.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Accounting/Business/Finance is required.
  • Proven Senior Accountant experience in industry or public accounting.
  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, including consolidations and real estate accounting.
  • Chartered Accountant preferred.
  • Advanced Excel; experience with Yardi and FAS is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and SOX controls.
  • Review monthly financial packages from PMCOs for accuracy.
  • Reconcile general ledger to sub-ledgers and supporting schedules.
  • Support capital transactions and related project coding.
  • Analyze variances and prepare GAAP disclosures.
