Revantage has set up its global capability center in Bengaluru (GCC).ROLE SUMMARYThe Senior Associate – Portfolio Accounting & Financial role will be to support the Revantage APAC Finance team in meeting the finance compliance obligations of Blackstone Portfolio companies in Australia and New Zealand.Primary RoleDeliverables include but is not limited to;Books and records are soundly maintained with monthly financials reflecting movements including but not limited to debt, intercompany transfers, capital injections, distributions, accruals, and adjustments for accounting standards and tax, while determining appropriate accounting and tax treatmentPreparing calculation of management fees, leasing fees and capex feesAssisting in processing expenses and intercompany cash transfersPreparing monthly entity level packs including balance sheet reconciliations for all balance sheet line items, understand and resolve aged balances and unreconciled itemsPreparing and comprehending portfolio and consolidated sector property results (balance sheet and profit & loss) by reviewing and analyzing movements on a monthly and YTD basisPreparing quarterly NAV, SCA reporting, monthly MMR and other BX reporting as requiredAssisting in monthly property expense, capex and incentives forecast reviewsPreparing statutory and managerial reporting for Blackstone investmentsParticipating in onboarding and offboarding of entities, including final wash upsSupport the treasury team with forecasting for cash flowsSupport tax function as required and assist with the preparation of periodical BAS, IAS reportsCollaborating across teams for meeting internal and external client needsIdentify efficiencies through refined operating procedures, business improvement and utilisation of new systems and executing improvementParticipating in improvement projectsKEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPSInternal:Revantage APAC Finance teamsRevantage Tax and Treasury teamsRevantage CoSec & legal teamsRevantage Technology teamExternal:BlackstoneProperty managing agents and service providers (eg JLL, CBRE)JV Partners151 PropertyOther Blackstone Portfolio Companies (Fort Knox & Student One)Auditors and Tax advisorsWhat You Bring To The RoleRequired:5 years + experience in a relevant industryChartered Accountant or equivalentBachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalentKnowledge of Private Equity/Real Estate experience desirableStrong financial reporting and accounting knowledgeGood written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of Private Equity/Real Estate, Fund Administration experience desirableAdvanced Excel skills and ability to manage large excel spreadsheets and datasets is preferredAbility to maintain a high energy, positive, creative, solutions driven, client orientated, dynamic and responsive cultureHigh level of behavioral awareness in self and othersTime management & organisational skillsProactive, solution-oriented, and continuous improvement mindsetJob Applicant Privacy NoticeEEO StatementThe Company is an equal opportunity employer.
