Position overview:
The E-Commerce Sales Operations Analyst (GSC) provides operational, analytical, and catalog management support for Amazon while assisting with digital commerce execution across Walmart.com, HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com, and other strategic eCommerce customers.
Catalog Management & Digital Shelf Execution
- Support the management and maintenance of product catalogs across Amazon and other assigned eCommerce retailers, ensuring item content, product attributes, images, videos, regulatory documentation, and other digital assets are accurately published and maintained.
- Conduct ongoing audits of Amazon product detail pages (PDPs) and other retailer product listings, identifying content gaps, variation issues, pricing discrepancies, Buy Box concerns, and other catalog-related defects requiring remediation.
- Support catalog setup, content maintenance, and digital shelf optimization activities across Amazon and other assigned eCommerce retailers, including Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, and future marketplaces.
- Monitor active product listings and advertising-supported ASINs to ensure content accuracy, compliance, and alignment with established eCommerce standards.
New Item Setup & Launch Support
- Execute new item setup processes within Amazon Vendor Central by following established workflows, documentation, and launch procedures.
- Support new product launches across Amazon and other assigned eCommerce retailers by monitoring setup milestones and post-launch activities to ensure products become available, searchable, and purchasable by consumers.
Compliance & Issue Resolution
- Manage the submission and maintenance of product regulatory documentation, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), and other compliance-related materials required by retailer platforms.
- Assist with troubleshooting catalog and compliance issues within Amazon Vendor Central, including hazmat classifications, product suppression investigations, Andon Cord notifications, and listing compliance concerns.
- Partner with internal teams and retailer support resources to investigate and resolve operational issues affecting item visibility, content compliance, and online availability for assigned eCommerce customers.
Inventory & Performance Analytics
- Develop and maintain inventory, Weeks of Cover (WOC), On-Hand Inventory (OIH), and fulfillment reporting for assigned eCommerce accounts.
- Analyze inventory and fulfillment center trends to identify potential in-stock risks, excess inventory exposure, and replenishment opportunities.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards to support eCommerce sales, inventory management, and operational decision-making.
- Monitor key retailer performance indicators, sales trends, inventory metrics, and digital shelf performance to provide data-driven insights that support business objectives.
Process Improvement & Operational Support
- Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workflow guides to support operational excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Support retailer-specific operational initiatives, reporting requirements, and marketplace activities across Amazon, Walmart.com, HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com, and other emerging eCommerce channels.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, catalog maintenance processes, and execution capabilities through automation and process enhancements.
- Support ad hoc reporting, special projects, and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, And ABILITIES
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quality assurance skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and data validation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Word
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms, retailer portals, or product information management systems preferred
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable business insights
